What Nice Shoes You Have my Dear....(Christian Louboutin Daffodils in Yellow)

I'm loving the Christian Louboutin Daffodils in Yellow. I think they're a great update on the classic black Louboutin.   The yellow makes the shoe a bit more quirky yet still able to smarten up an outfit. I could see them getting rocked out in an office or date setting.

Grey, Light Blue & Beige - it just works

Ashton Kutcher's officially going to replace Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men.  I don't really watch the show but I perked up when I saw Ashton Kutcher wearing a really 'winning' outfit at the official press conference to announce the news.

It gets better - he had these brown tan boots on that were like half boot, half shoe.  This look is so suave, its the look of the year so far for me:

What Nice Shoes You Have My Dear.... (Rachel Stevens)

I've decided to start a weekly blog post thing about Shoes I see out and about or in the media, and thought I'd kick things off with this pair I saw on Rachel Stevens the other day.  Heres to future submissions, if you have a hot pair of shoes, send me a pic of you rocking them.

Halle Berry at final Oprah Winfrey show

So Oprah Winfrey just taped her final ever show yesterday and she had a whole gang of celebrities show up to say sweet shmaltzy showbiz stuff about her.  I noticed Halle Berry looked stunning in a Victoria Beckham dress.  I can see River Island doing a similar copy or maybe Jane Norman.  Anyway, Hawt. . .

Going out with a bang: Oprah Winfrey is flanked by Beyonce, Madonna, Dakota Fanning and Halle Berry as she taped her Surprise Spectacular show in Chicago today

If only we could get a peep at the shoes.....

McQueen skull t-shirts

I liked the McQueen skull t-shirt Joey Essex from TOWIE was rocking the other day. I think it is suited to skinny guys who like to wear something a bit fresh and different.  It looks really great on dark skin aswell.

The Lagerfeld Look

I really like Chris Brown's suited and booted look in his new 'She Ain't You' video. I think its very Karl Lagerfeld (peep below).. . .and the look takes me back to one of my first posts in 09 about guys in riding boots.

Bowler Hats

Image 1 of ASOS Bowler Hat      Image 1 of Mr Hat Exclusive To ASOS Felt Bowler Hat

They've been a trend for about a year now but I still need to give a shout out to Bowler Hats.  I love them! The bowler hat I'd love to own is a Christys' one (uber old school London hatmaker).  They make some gorgeous hats, really good quality but I can't really justify sepnding £75 on a hat at the moment.  No worries, Asos are doing them for £20!

The Powder Blue suit

" Lovely, fresh and modern..."  thats what the headlines say. I think Jamie Oliver kickstarted this look when he got married in a powder blue suit, and a week ago that douchey guy from TOWIE wore one to his engagement party so it looks like its going to become mass market this summer.

I love this look when done right, I think it just looks really fresh and crisp and is perfect for summer events.

Laid back Gypsy look

I love this boho look Ashley Tisdale was seen wearing the other day, straight off her flight from Mexico.

Other trends i noticed at the wedding....

Well i thought People in Blue rocked...Lady Helen Taylor looked like she was in Prada, in fact the dress is Erdem.  I really liked the dress, it was very fashion forward - especially for a wedding.  I'm  not really surprised, as this Lady used to be a muse for Giorgio Armani, so impeccable taste goes with the territory. Tara Palmer Tomlinkinson was also pretty near perfect in her blue look. She was very bold and dramatic, a bit superhero even?

The little page boys looked awesome, the adults (in simlar gear) not so much.

The pageboys: What the Foot Guards' garb represents

Elegant: Pippa Middleton, pictured entering Westminster Abbey this morning with the bridesmaids and pageboys, echoed the bride's dress in Alexander McQueen

Guy Ritchies pinstripes were cool.  He managed to look at ease and stylish - hard to do for a guy at a wedding. The grey look with the pinstripes was a bit quirky and hes very much doing his own thing.  I think thats a really attractive thing in a guy, when he has his own dress sense....thats how Beckham kind of got noticed, beacuse he does his own thing style wise. . .

Did i miss anything else worth style noting?

The Wedding

2 words: Pippa Middleton.  Her bridesmaid outfit and reception outfit were on point:

Pippa Middleton   Stylish choice: Pippa's slinky white cowl-neck dress showed off her slender figure, while the cap sleeves kept it youthful. The back of the dress was studded with tiny silk-covered buttons

Sartorially stunning: Pippa asked Sarah Burton's team at Alexander McQueen to finish off the dress with a line of silk-covered buttons that went right down her spine

As for the bride, yes, she looked beautiful and the lace detailing is definitely an iST moment.

Kate wedding dress

Flawless: Dressmakers are full of admiration for Kate's Alexander McQueen gown, with flowing train held by her sister Pippa
