I wanted to title this post, Last of The Summer Wine, just because...can't resist a bit of naffness, but well the point is I love burgundy, and as it looks set to be the colour of the season I thought I would give you some tips on how to rock it...Burgundy can be a bit aging or just look way too dull so if you are going to rock it you need to make it fresh and directional. Try the following:
1. Add leather, preferably a leather skirt.
2. Do a pantsuit...or trouser suit if you're British. this is only for the style confident.
3. Add lace.
4. Maxi skirt it. - so hip, so now.
5. Make it gothic. call the shade oxblood and glam it up goth style.
6. Keep it casual, mix it with neutrals such as navy or grey.
7. Accessorise it.
Nails, hats, lips, hair. whatev.
8. Get a guy to wear it.
and there you have it, my bonafide way to look haute in burgundy.
